Kingdom Thoughts :: Thinking Like a Daughter of the King

Kingdom Thinking

Read this scripture recently which really got me thinking about my identity.

4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons (daughters). 6 Because you are sons (daughters), God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son (daughter); and if a son (daughter), then an heir through God.  Galatians 4:4-7

We are heirs- daughters.  Do I live like one?  Am I thinking like one?  Most times I do, but when I think like a slave it is not pretty.  How about you?  Are you living like a daughter of the King with all the inheritance that comes from royal blood Jesus shed for you and me?

I have been asking my friends to help me remember to think Kingdom Thoughts.  To remember whose I am and that I am a daughter of the King now.  He is my Father and provider and helper.  We our just passing through this life and there is a beautiful eternity with Him when we die.   I am chosen, redeemed, restored!  Thinking Kingdom thoughts.

A daughter trusts her daddy to take care of her and provide for her.  She believes him when he says he will do something and she doesn’t worry about food or clothes.  Think Kingdom Thoughts.  I want this mindset, and our Father even gave us the Holy Spirit to help us do this.

25 “These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. John 14:25,26

Thanks be to God.  He even helps me do Kingdom thinking.

The Sursee today is thinking like a child of the King- to remember I am a daughter of the Father. Spending time with Him helps me.  The Holy Spirit reminds me.  You remind me, friends.

Join me, friend and daughter?  Let’s do some Kingdom Thinking today.
