No Fear. Trust.

Whenever I feel afraid,

I hold my head erect,

what comes next, gal?

so no one will suspect, I’m afraid.

What makes you afraid?  What do you do when you fear?
Whistle like Anna?
Spiral down into sadness?
Put on your Grumpy pants?

A way I have learned to smack down fear is to say out loud:

NO FEAR!  TRUST!

I actually do say it out loud.  “No Fear.  Trust, Leslie. “

I replace the fear with the words, “I trust You, Lord.”

You take care of me.  I don’t how You are going to do it in this situation.  But  I TRUST YOU.

Scripture calls us to do this:

 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God,B)’> to Christ.  II Corinthians 10:5

Take those thoughts captive. 
We do this when we say,
“I trust You, Lord.”

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,O)’> Ephesians 6:16

Faith is our shield to protect us.
Saying out loud, “I trust You, Lord,” is my shield.

And finally~

Do not be anxious about anything,I)’> And the peace of God,K)’> will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.M)’> will be with you.  Philippians 4:6-9

Choose to trust.
Choose to be thankful.
Choose to think about the things He says are true.

No Fear. 

Trust.
