About Sursee Gal

A SURSEE  is an unexpected surprise that brings joy.  It is not big or expensive- although it can be.  It is usually just a little something that says I love you.

I love to look for ways to bring a little Sursee or unexpected surprise to my recipes and meal plans and also to my practice of simple hospitality.

I have been married to my sweetheart, Craig, for almost 35 years, and we love the adventure of these days. We raised four men and now with three married, we love the gals who join us at our table. We have one Grand-Gal who calls us Lellie and Bear. She is full of smiles and curly hair and wonder.

I am also an Associate Certified Coach, and I would love to talk with you about how I can help you get unstuck in your life and make progress. Coaching is an amazing process because together, we dig into questions you want answered. Contact me for more information.

You can find me watching cooking shows and creating with felted wool and embroidery.

No one loves Christmas like I do or the State Fair of Texas. Big Tex is my hero and Corny Dogs are one of life’s simple pleasures.

I like to laugh, write letters, plant flowers and have people over.  

Reading a good book is tops on my list, but I will drag it out at the end because I don’t like finishing it.

I love that Jesus made fish tacos on the beach for his friends to show them He loved them.
